What is the snape fun run
The Snape Fun Run is an annual event that takes place in the beautiful picturesque village of Snape in North Yorkshire. The event itself is made up of two separate events. A 5K and a 10K race. Both taking place on the same day, at the same time, but running different courses. We have been organising the event for over 30 years and all funds raised help to support the ongoing maintenance and improvements of Snape Institute.
What to expect
- Free car parking
- Registration, disabled access, toilets & refreshments at Snape Institute
- Delicious home cooking & baking available before, during & after the race
- Trophies for category winners
- Medals for all finishers

Routes
- 10k: Multi-terrain – some roads through Bedale
- 5k: Footpaths and fields – perfect for children
- Map available on the day or one request
Parking
Parking is available at the top of the village, opposite the castle. There is plenty of space available on the day. This is on agricultural land and parking is at your own risk

Trophies are issued for category winners & medals for all finishers.
